In 2019 Kamiar K. Rückert finished medical school at Riga Stradins University in Latvia. His poems and essays have been published in theviennapsychoanalyst. com, in-training. org and the printed and online version of the Latvian student magazine semperanticus. lv. His works are translated in Englisch, German and Latvian. All essays and Poems were written in Riga, Latvia between 2016 and 2019.
The poems are an intimate reflection of my life in Riga. Latvia has captivated me with its vivid economical and cultural development, bilingual cities and the underlying discontent within society, politics and healthcare. The topics of the book range from Psychodynamic ideas and Latvian art to the growth of the new Alt-Right ideology. The book contains 14 black and white illustrations. The book was originally written fro my girlfriend as a Christmas present. Its now published as she persuaded me to do so.
