This book comprehensively presents topics, such as bra-ket notation, tensor analysis and elementary differential geometry of a moving surface. Moreover, authors intentionally abstain from giving mathematically rigorous definitions and derivations that are however dealt with as precisely as possible. The reader is provided with hands-on calculations and worked-out examples at which he will learn how to handle the bra-ket notation, tensors and differential geometry and to use them in the physical and engineering world. Die Untersuchung widmet sich der Beurteilung der mündlichen Englischkenntnisse vietnamesischer Fakultätsmitglieder durch gezielte Testthemen. Dabei wird analysiert, wie sich die Auswahl zwischen allgemeinen und fachspezifischen Themen auf die Prüfungsleistung auswirkt. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass es keinen signifikanten Unterschied in der mündlichen Leistung gibt, unabhängig von der Themenwahl. Diese Erkenntnisse haben wichtige Implikationen für die Gestaltung von Sprachtests und die Identifizierung des Schulungsbedarfs im Bereich gesprochenes Englisch für den akademischen Kontext.

O estudo investiga como tópicos de teste de fala afetam a proficiência oral em inglês de professores vietnamitas. Apesar de a escolha do tema influenciar o desempenho, não foram encontradas diferenças significativas entre tópicos gerais e específicos. Os resultados têm implicações para a avaliação da produção oral em contextos acadêmicos.
