Mankind has many conflicting ideas about what God is really like. God created the whole material universe by His Word, and then the Word of God emptied Himself to become a speck in a tiny part of it. Why? To show people exactly what God would be like if He lived in a limited human body like our own. This also allowed Him to become a perfect Example of how we should live on earth and to pay a just price for the sins of mankind, His creation. This little book provides a foundation for understanding the character and nature of God, showing how God's provision in Jesus is very different from what any religion provides. This difference is vital for preparing us for all eternity. God's way to save us through Jesus helps us to grow in true love and cuts through a deadly self-righteousness that, if God allowed it, would even lower the quality of heaven. This book was first written for people in South Sudan, but can help people anywhere who want to find meaning and purpose for their lives on earth.

      Knowing God
    • A Christianity with little of Christ for generations causes a nation to become like Judah in Malachi. This includes nations in Western Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S. Many people in all these nations have hearts hardened against the true God and His words to us. Malachi shows that God is preparing His faithful people, so that at the right time He will release them mightily as He did Jesus in Judea. This will heal the hardened hearts of many people who have not yet really tasted God's goodness in Jesus. God has made a way in Christ to rescue each of these nations from heading toward certain destruction into becoming Jesus' national disciple. Malachi helps us to see God's work in His people in any of these nations like Judah while the nation keeps corrupting itself. Then God's sudden release of His prepared people with great power and healing changes everything!

      DESTROYING SPIRITUAL STRONGHOLDS
    • Most believers in Jesus have heard that we should abide in Jesus: to stay in Him, a command in John 15 and 1John. But John's whole Gospel and all of 1John show a meaning of this command that is rarely seen fully in English, and is too rarely put into full practice in our lives. God calls for His children to abide in Jesus, a life and ministry amazingly like what Jesus lived on earth. Staying in Jesus is a vital theme of both John's Gospel and 1John. Our not realizing this theme has greatly weakened our personal and corporate life and growth in God on earth. A simple issue has caused so few believers to see this vital theme in John's books: an assumed way to partly translate a Greek word ina about 25 times (about 10% of John's use of ina). In this book we can see that fully translating ina shows God's revelation of sources of vital outcomes, and shows why most of us have not fully moved into them. Part 2 of this book shows all 213 times John used ina in the Bible.
