Reversing the contamination of the Moche River to preserve animal and plant life and human health
The research investigates the significant impact of Moche River contamination on local abiota and health issues in the Moche district of Trujillo, La Libertad. Utilizing two questionnaires, the study involved 334 residents and employed a non-experimental, transectional correlational causal design. Findings indicate a strong correlation (p<0.01) between river contamination and the prevalence of diseases among the rural population, highlighting environmental health concerns in the area.
