Focusing on the energy choices of households in Ambo town, Ethiopia, the study highlights the challenges posed by urban population growth and deforestation, which have led to increased energy prices and negative environmental and health impacts. The research aims to identify the factors influencing energy selection among residents, addressing a gap in existing analyses regarding alternative energy availability and its effects on the community. The study utilizes both primary and secondary data sources to achieve its objectives.
