The study highlights the critical role of teamwork in enhancing academic staff performance in private universities in Uganda. Key elements such as collaboration, effective communication, shared decision-making, and responsibility sharing are shown to significantly improve the quality, quantity, and timeliness of work. By emphasizing the promotion of teamwork, the research provides valuable insights for managerial practices aimed at boosting staff effectiveness in higher education institutions both locally and regionally.
