Focusing on the design of remuneration mechanisms for ecosystem services, this research analyzes socio-educational and economic variables to create a water remuneration system for the agricultural sector. The goal is to enhance conservation efforts for the Chumbao river micro-watershed ecosystem in Andahuaylas, Apurimac Region, Peru. By identifying key factors affecting ecosystem service retribution, the study aims to provide a structured approach to sustainable resource management in the region.
