Climate change and environmental pollution pose significant challenges, disproportionately affecting the poorest. To meet the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, urgent action is needed to reduce carbon emissions. This dissertation explores how Green Information Systems (Green IS) can promote pro-environmental behavior and facilitate sustainable practices at individual and organizational levels.
