I experienced a recurring dream for 34 years. The dream plagued, taunted or cursed me. At least that is how I felt about it until the day that the dream became a reality. On that particular day I walked the walk, saw the sights, smelled the odors, heard the sounds, understood the feelings, and learned the dark secret. My curse became my gift and my greatest comfort. The dream stopped me from committing a murder.
