Amelia did a fun summer art project with her Grammy. They learned the Fruit of the Spirit LOVE JOY PEACE PATIENCE KINDNESS GOODNESS FAITHFULNESS GENTLENESS SELF-CONTROL while decorating a tree with all the fruit, and then filling the leaves with verses from the Bible.
A Truth Journey Through a Land of Deception We live in a world full of deception. We can't get around it! We can't escape it! But we can recognize it and be wise to it when we know Jesus as our Savior and Lord. That is where we must start, with God's absolute Truth, and then recognize all the lies we are surrounded with on a daily basis-lies in the news, lies in churches, lies in government, lies in our homes, and in our closest relationships. This book is not to be a downer. Instead, I believe this may lift us up and help us live in the Light as we are called to as the sons and daughters of God Almighty. At the end of an "interesting" year with the Covid-19, riots, protests, churches closed, and the U.S. election, we need to have our spiritual eyes wide open. The Bible clearly states in Matthew 24:24 that false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. We don't want to be counted among them. Our Father in Heaven doesn't want us to be deceived?deception pulls us farther away from our relationship with our God. We need to see deception for what it is and know that it is overpowered by Jesus Christ of Nazareth. On the Cross, Jesus said, "It is finished." We can believe that and live in it every single day. How? Well, that is what this book is about.
