      A historical stage depiction of the life of Ibanichuka, Amanyanabo of Okrika, a Kingdom now situated in Southern Nigeria, from the years of childhood into adulthood and his subsequent ascension to the throne of his people. The Eagle King as he was known, sought to uphold his culture in the face of the relentless onslaught by the British who first came in the guise of merchants and then began to offer "protection treaties" to the owners of the land.
