Blackberries Got No At the end of WWII Webster Allen Sloan, a teen-aged Psychopath in the hills of North East Georgia decides he is going to be the biggest bootlegger in the county. He accidentally kills his father, watches his mother die and fathers a child each by his sister and a hired black nanny. In his quest he brutalizes those around him and in the end as he reaches the pinnacle his past brutalities catch up with him. Not only a chilling look into a Sociopaths mind but an excellent tableau depicting the hill folks way of life in lower Appalachia in the post WWII years.

Angel House is a compelling poignant novel about a career woman, Ann Harrison, who is facing what almost all grown children eventually face how to help aging and ill parents. The healthcare environment seems so cold and clinical to Ann, until she experiences Island Hospice. In discovering this unique hospice setting, Ann gains insight and solace from each person she meets during this meaningful and precious time.

It seems that we are always in the process of "doing" something or "going" somewhere. We are going and doing; doing and going. A clear mind and fortified spirit can de-clutter our path, power our walk and give us "real" direction. I hope these quick and accessible poetic streams of insight, encouragement, and wisdom will help you along your way. - Ironda Joyce Campbell
