    Old Oak and Little Pumpkin
    • With butterfly hunts through the seasons, vibrant and inclusive illustrations, and lyrical language, Old Oak and Little Pumpkin will captivate children at home and in the Pre-K through third grade classroom. Old Oak watches through the seasons as the spring rain sprinkles drops plops on the farmer's seeds and the twisty twirly curly vines become teenie tiny greenie pumpkins in summer. As the pumpkins grow bigger and bigger and bigger, Little Pumpkin grows slower and slower and slower. When children come in autumn, they take home more and more and more pumpkins. Little Pumpkin is left behind and feels sad and alone and wondering what will happen with winter coming. This uplifting bedtime story will comfort Little Pumpkins who can scare easily and need reassurance from their Old Oaks that all is okay, they are loved and are never alone. The author has created a song to accompany the storyline.
