Free-spirited artist model, Nancy, has a chance encounter with Spencer, a reserved astrobiologist at your everyday Los Angeles coffee shop. Curious about each other's lives, they start up a conversation debating the pros and cons of scientific objectivity and artistic values. While their philosophical differences are immediately apparent, they eventually discover that they share a common interest in unraveling the mysteries of the universe.
