Peretz Hirschbein

    Peretz Hirshbein fut un prolifique auteur en langue yiddish, célèbre pour ses pièces de théâtre, romans, articles de journaux et récits de voyage. Son œuvre, qui privilégiait l'ambiance à l'intrigue, lui valut le surnom de "Maeterlinck yiddish". Les pièces de Hirshbein se caractérisent de manière constante par des dialogues vivides, concis et naturalistes.
