The Daughter of the Black Corsair, also published as Yolanda, is the third book in Emilio Salgari's series known as the Pirates of the Antilles. The series consists of five novels set in the Caribbean during the 17th century, a time of flourishing piracy. As is often the case in Salgari's works, the Black Corsair falls in love with the daughter of his enemy, Honorata de Wan Guld, with whom he shares a brief romance. Their union produces Yolanda, the protagonist of this adventure novel, alongside the Corsair's former lieutenant, the pirate Morgan. The story weaves themes of love, betrayal, and the tumultuous life of pirates, capturing the essence of adventure on the high seas.
