This volume offers a thorough and wide introduction to gender-specific issues connected with aspects of foreign Language teaching. All Contributors have found their common ground in the assumption that neglecting gender issues at school as well as at university must be considered a deficit in professionalism; furthermore they share the opinion that Gender Studies should be considered as one of the „link disciplines“ to which foreign Language teaching relates.
