This collection features the top papers from the Second International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies (BIOSTEC 2009), organized by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information Control and Communication (INSTICC) and co-sponsored by notable organizations such as the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society and the Workflow Management Coalition.
