In just over a decade, online games and tourism have gained popularity in Europe and America, evolving into a rapidly flourishing industry since the 1990s. This growth is largely driven by spontaneous enterprise exploration rather than academic inquiry, which remains underdeveloped in this field. While some research exists, it primarily consists of isolated academic papers, and a cohesive theoretical framework is still lacking. Similarly, China's online game and tourism industry, emerging only a decade ago, has yet to establish a comprehensive theoretical research system. The development of this industry has been largely market-driven, with theoretical understanding lagging behind practice. Since 2001, China has experienced a period of rapid growth in this sector. This work aims to create a more complete theoretical research framework by integrating insights from economics, management science, sociology, and communication science. Utilizing statistical research tools and a wealth of data, it conducts thorough qualitative and quantitative analyses of China's online game and tourism industry. The study examines the current state of the industry, its global positioning, market structure, and introduces new theoretical perspectives on the social responsibilities of the sector towards the country, society, and enterprises.
