En savoir plus sur le livre
Post-Studio Tales (P-ST) is a curatorial research and publication project that explores contemporary artistic practices in relation to their context and materialization. Featuring contributions from various artists, theorists, curators, and architects, this publication aims to deepen the understanding of 'post-studio' practices in the arts. Conducted as a research initiative, P-ST involved eighteen artists working within an architectural environment created by Something Fantastic at District Berlin. This setup transformed the entire space into a singular grand studio, erasing boundaries between art and non-art, production and non-production, and merging artistic expression with everyday life. The project offers a postheroic commentary on the intersections of art and daily experiences. It includes an introduction by editors Daniel Falb and Ulrike Gerhardt, essays by Kathrin Busch and Jörn Schafaff, roundtable discussions led by John Beeson and Friedemann Heckel, along with interviews and artistic contributions. The publication also features a selection of images and a detailed timeline, designed by Jan Steinbach and Sarah Brockmann/Studio Taube.
