The story of the Land and the Sea

The purpose of this book is to create a portable narrative installation combining a story and a series of paintings by artist Amélie Beaudroit on the topic of the state of flow. The artist uses landscape and the relationship between the land and the sea to question our relation to our environment and our constant search for identity. Elements of Nature are impersonated into characters who influence each other, as well as they influence the reader and prompt him to adopt a different view on his role and position. It is a characteristic of the work of this artist to use elements of Nature, or elements of physics to reflect on the status of humanity, on the status of the individual in society, oscillating between irony and hope without one sentiment diminishing the other.
