Issuing a passionate denunciation of all those who don't conform to an orthodox, rigidly hierarchical conception of Catholicism, Rose (former editor of the St. Catherine Review) blames liberals and "humanistic" philosophy in the Catholic seminary system for all the ills of the Catholic Church.
