Exploring themes of diaspora and identity, the novel follows actress Sonia Nasir as she returns to Palestine after years away, drawn by family ties and a desire to reconnect with her roots. Engaging in a West Bank production of Hamlet, she navigates her complex relationship with her homeland amidst the backdrop of political turmoil.
