The world of Xera has long forgotten why the gods erected walls between the nations and the scourge of the dark god's forces. High above the land on the floating island the spirit goddess watches the centuries go by and the elemental walls begin to weaken. When the dark god begins to stir, the goddess reaches out and puts into motion the only hope that may defeat the dark god. The Spirit Stones, ancient relics of the gods lost for generations, are found on the floating island of Aurosia. The queen asks her daughters to carry the sacred stones to a council held by the rulers of the landbound nations to return the stones. Her youngest daughter, Aura Silverwing, long believed to be a god-touched blessed by the spirit goddess directly, only just arriving home after seven years of training at the temple, sets off to return the stones.
