At an elite art school in New York, four artists become entangled in rivalry and desire amid the backdrop of a 2011 recession and the rise of Occupy Wall Street. Louisa Arceneaux, a thoughtful nineteen-year-old scholarship student, feels out of place in an environment that values novelty over beauty.
