War of the Wind

Set on a remote Scottish island, the story follows Max, who loses his hearing in a boating accident and struggles to adapt to his new reality. As he navigates school life in a 'special' class, he observes unsettling changes in his community following the construction of a nearby wind farm. Irritability and violence escalate as the turbines are secretly used for a soundwave weapon experiment. Unaffected by the sound, Max and his classmates must band together to halt the dangerous project before it leads to devastating outcomes.
