Crossing the Line is an immersive, fast-paced and original action-thriller describing the adventures, experiences, and dangerous conduct of four British Soldiers serving in operations in the Central American country of Belize. The story centres on a soldier called Jack Wallace who is serving a six-month tour of duty and is set in Belize and Cancun, Mexico.The novel explores criminal activity conducted by soldiers in the armed forces and drug abuse associated with illicit drug cartels in Central America and the violence and dangers associated with being connected to those involved in the drug trafficking trade as well as the impact of social injustice on ordinary Central Americans. This is a powerful theme in the novel which leads to devastating, tragic and fatal consequences for the soldiers and Belizean people associated with them.​
