For eons, the city of Troy, once thought to be a myth, was confirmed real when archaeologists uncovered its ancient walls in the nineteenth century. This discovery raises questions about the truth behind Homer's tales in The Iliad and The Odyssey. In Greenland's frozen tundra, modern researchers find a medieval ship buried deep in ice, containing Bronze Age artifacts and a remarkable treasure: a clockwork gold map with an intricate silver astrolabe, crafted by the Banū Mūsā brothers, renowned Muslim inventors. When activated, the map traces Odysseus's journey from Troy but reveals a fiery river leading to Tartarus, the Greek underworld. This hidden realm, known for punishing the wicked and imprisoning Titans, becomes a focal point of conflict as rumors spread of miraculous weapons said to be concealed there. The region is already fraught with tension, as Turks battle Kurds and terrorism reigns, and the potential unleashing of mythological horrors threatens to escalate the violence.
