Shells on a Chifferobe is based on the true story of a young woman named Helen; a single parent, rearing two children in the deep south at the end of the 1940's. The story reveals a character defining moment in Helen's life; a challenging, terror-filled episode which would plumb the outer reaches of her intestinal fortitude.
