This volume The Art of Guitar Duo by Ro Gebhardt shows the basic guitar techniques necessary for the performance of Bossa Nova, Samba, Pop and Swing-Jazz. It is about the accompaniment as well as the construction of solo lines and improvisation. These topics will be demonstrated with eight specific arrangements. The pieces in this book are therefore not only suitable for study, but also for use on stage. Each piece is available in two versions: A relatively light version that can be mastered with basic knowledge of jazz chords and single note line phrasing. The heavier version requires more virtuosity for the players of both parts. This version is more suitable for advanced students and professionals. Includes CD of all the arrangements.
