This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Software Analysis, Testing, and Evolution, SATE 2018. The conference was co-located with the national Software Application Conference, NASAC 2018, and was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong, in November 2018. The 13 full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from 34 submissions.
