Claudio Roman was forced to retire from opera two years ago after a fateful random attack caused him to lose not only his sight but also his confidence as a performer. His prowess with women, however, was not impaired. So why would he hire a petite, mousy-looking woman as his new publicist, accompanying him night and day on his world travels?
