Young people, often seen as passive in the school reform debate, emerge as active agents with valuable insights into their education. This book highlights the experiences of around 100 youths from low socioeconomic backgrounds who initially rejected traditional schooling but rediscovered their passion for learning through alternative education programs. These programs provided them with direction and hope while also presenting challenges.
