Aegean Sea, November 1943: After a failed island occupation, around 1,200 British soldiers are trapped by the enemy. A rescue convoy is on its way, but looming over the strait they must pass are the gigantic guns of the impregnable island fortress of Navarone. A handful of specialists led by Captain Keith Mallory is dispatched to neutralize the guns.
