The Silver Thread

Set in 1840 Dublin, the story follows Rhia Mahoney, who faces devastation as her father's linen warehouse burns, destroying her family's livelihood and her dreams. In search of a new beginning, she travels to grim London for a governess position. However, her life takes a dramatic turn when her uncle, a shipping merchant, unexpectedly commits suicide, leading Rhia into unforeseen challenges and transformations.
