The Alexandrian Society, guardians of ancient knowledge, stands as the premier secret society of magical scholars. Membership promises unmatched wealth, power, and prestige, with only six uniquely gifted magicians selected each decade for initiation. The latest candidates include Libby Rhodes and Nico de Varona, who share an extraordinary control over physical elements; Reina Mori, a naturalist fluent in the language of life; Parisa Kamali, a telepath exploring the subconscious; Callum Nova, an empath with the ability to influence inner selves; and Tristan Caine, who perceives reality beyond illusions—an ability so rare that its implications are largely unknown to him and his peers. Recruited by the enigmatic Atlas Blakely, they learn they have one year to qualify for initiation, gaining preliminary access to the Society's archives and facing judgment based on their contributions to complex subjects like time, space, luck, and life. Only five will be initiated, while one will be eliminated.
