Artist Stephen Turner spent the summer of 2005 living on thederelict searchlight tower of the Shivering Sands seafort eight miles offthe north Kent coast. This new book is a beautiful documentation of histime marooned there. The Seafort Project was an artistic exploration of solitude and creativecontemplation, and the book contains over seventy colour photographs andthe artists diary presented as a collection of 'seafort stories'.
