Artemis

Set during the Age of Fighting Sail, the story follows Kydd, a sailor celebrated for his bravery aboard the frigate HMS Artemis. After a victorious battle against the French, he is drawn back to his family, but the call of the sea proves too strong to resist. Embarking on a new voyage to the East, Kydd encounters formidable challenges that test his resolve. As he navigates treacherous waters on his return home, he confronts life-and-death situations in the perilous Southern Ocean, highlighting the duality of his love for the sea and his familial obligations.
