Born in 1873, Ford Madox Ford is renowned for "The Good Soldier," yet his extensive literary contributions span novels, essays, and criticism. He collaborated with Joseph Conrad on multiple works and established influential literary magazines that promoted various authors. His experiences during WWI led him to write propaganda before returning to Britain and later residing in France. Notable for the "Parade's End" series, Ford gained significant acclaim in America. He spent his final years teaching in Michigan before passing away in 1939.
