Five Children and It

The discovery of a Psammead, or sand fairy, leads five children—Cyril, Anthea, Robert, Jane, and the Lamb—into a series of enchanting adventures as they are granted one wish per day. Unlike previous wishers, they avoid the fate of turning to stone at sundown, allowing them to explore the limitless possibilities of their imaginations. This story marks the beginning of their magical trilogy, filled with whimsical experiences and the challenges that come with their fantastical desires.
