Paper Dragons

Set in a mystical village above the clouds, a 12-year-old orphan named Yeung Zhi Ging dreams of becoming a Silhouette, an apprentice to immortals. After a disastrous attempt to impress a scout results in a dragon attack, Zhi Ging believes her hopes are dashed. However, the scout recognizes her potential and offers her protection, granting her a second chance at her ambitions.
