House of Reckoning

The story follows fourteen-year-old Sarah Crane, who, after her mother's death and her father's arrest, navigates a tumultuous life in foster care. She forms a bond with Nick Dunnigan, a classmate haunted by visions, and their art instructor, Bettina Phillips, who encourages Sarah's painting talent. Within Bettina's ancestral mansion, they discover that the dark history of the house influences their art, unleashing violent memories from the past. Together, they harness this power to confront their trauma and seek revenge against the injustices that haunt them.
