The Resistance

Set against the backdrop of World War II, the story follows Lt. Eli Evans, a B-17 bomber pilot who is shot down in occupied France. With the help of Resistance fighters, a British SOE agent, and Marxist sympathizers, Evans and his navigator must navigate a perilous escape from a Nazi manhunt. Aimée, a courageous Resistance member, grapples with her disdain for war while participating in ambushes and sabotage. The narrative intertwines their struggles with philosophical debates sparked by C. S. Lewis's broadcasts, adding depth to their perilous mission.
