Faith Neilson, a survivor of an abusive marriage, dedicates her life to running a shelter for women facing crises, including homelessness, abuse, and grief. As she strives to secure funding and manage her responsibilities, she encounters a diverse group of residents: Tilda, who fears Alzheimer's; Molly, a resilient homeless woman; Caroline, consumed by her gardening after her son's death; and Jenny, grappling with betrayal. Their journeys toward healing are challenged when danger arises from a resident's abusive stepfather, testing their friendships and resilience.
