Light of the Veil

Set in a gritty fringe world, David Artan struggles as a dock rat and prize-fighter, dreaming of escape. His life takes a dramatic turn when he is hired by an interstellar mafia and encounters the ancient power known as the Veil, linked to a past civil war. After a near-fatal encounter with agents of a defeated Tyrant, he is rescued by an Adept from the Paragon order. David is offered a perilous journey into another dimension to obtain a powerful stone, which could be the key to combating the lingering threat of the Tyrant.
