The research explores the innovative use of solid plastic waste as a partial replacement for fine aggregate in concrete, aiming to address environmental concerns associated with increasing plastic waste. By incorporating varying percentages of plastic waste (0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, and 40%) into M40 concrete mix designs, the study assesses the compressive, tensile, and flexural strength of the resulting lightweight concrete. Findings indicate potential benefits in recycling and reusing plastic waste, while also providing insights into the durability of the material over time.
