Shadows of Flight

Transitioning from a Royal Navy pilot to a farmer in Northern Rhodesia, the author recounts nearly two decades of cultivating tobacco and maize while ranching cattle in the African bush. Eventually, he returns to aviation as a charter pilot, culminating his career as a training captain flying BAC 1-11 aircraft in the Mediterranean.
