Moon and the Mars

Throughout her youth, she witnesses significant cultural developments, including the birth of tap dance and the impact of P.T. Barnum's museum, alongside the chaos of the draft riots. The story also explores the evolving attitudes of white America towards race and slavery amid the growing national divide leading to war.
