Imagined Futures

Focusing on the perspectives of 28 young adults in Melbourne, the study explores their views on both personal and societal futures. It examines how these individuals envision the future of society and its impact on their own life outlook. The findings are analyzed alongside theoretical frameworks about contemporary society, leading to new ways of understanding future-oriented thinking. Additionally, the role of hope in shaping these experiences is highlighted, making this book a valuable resource for those interested in the sociology of risk, uncertainty, and youth.
