Truth and Salsa

Set against the vibrant backdrop of rural Mexico, almost-thirteen-year-old Hayley Flynn, now called Margarita, navigates a transformative six-month stay with her grandmother. Amidst the excitement of colorful fiestas, exotic wildlife, and new friendships, she confronts the stark realities of poverty affecting her friend Lili's family. As they land roles in a Hollywood film, Hayley also seeks to uncover the mystery of a ghost haunting her grandmother's home. Through these experiences, she learns valuable lessons that prepare her for life back in Michigan.
